Product Description & Representation
When we describe items as MINT or NEAR MINT, you can expect condition to be C9 out of 10. Products or Items that are not mint will clearly state this within the item description and will carry a detailed list of any prevailing defects or damage. We use a grading scale but due to the very nature of these vintage toys and collectables, they have been played with by children and in some cases are over 20+ years old, unless the item is still sealed in its original container they will over time gather slight imperfections and blemishes. DoopyDoo’s tries to be as accurate as is reasonably possible in describing and representing its products to you on our website, However, we cannot always guarantee that product descriptions, prices, photographs or other content is totally accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. DoopyDoo’s is not responsible for typographical errors, supplier/manufacturer delays in delivery or changes to products. All product descriptions, case assortments, variations, prices and shipping dates are subject to change and availability without notice. We reserve the right to restrict the quantity of items sold. We reserve the right to refuse any sale. If a product sold by us is not as described, you should return it in unused condition within 7 working days. DoopyDoos.com sells products to adults aged over 18 years only when ordering though our website. If you are under 18, you may use our website only under the supervision of a parent or guardian. DoopyDoos.com reserves the right to refuse service, terminate purchases, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion at any given time.
We try to ensure that all prices shown on our web site are accurate. Sometimes products/prices are displayed incorrectly. Where a product's correct price is lower than the displayed price, we will charge the correct price at the time of invoicing. Where a product's correct price is higher than the displayed price we will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to proceed with the order at the correct price, or cancel the order. Please note that prices may change without notice.
At DoopyDoos.com you can make purchases using the following credit/debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, Delta, and JCB through PayPal. Other methods of payment include cheque, postal order, cashier’s check, cash.( send strictly at your own risk) We reserve the right to charge 10% deposit (non-refundable) for any and all custom work or pre-orders. If we have charged a deposit for any item or pre-order, and it fails to come into stock, then a full unconditional refund will be given. All payments are to be made in £ pounds sterling unless instructed otherwise.
DoopyDoos.com charges all products and services in £ pounds sterling. We display other currencies as a guide only. We accept no responsibility whatsoever as to the accuracy of the variable guide currencies displayed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to check their true and correct local exchange rates, compared to our published prices in £ pound, before placing an order. All orders placed by users from outside the UK will be charged by their card issuer in their local home currency, but will be structured/based on their own internal exchange rates converted from £ pounds sterling. DoopyDoos.com is not responsible for any charges imposed by the card issuer nor for any discrepancies in exchange rates.
Any order received by DoopyDoos.com is processed the following business day and our aim is to then dispatch it that same day. with the exception of English public holidays.. Custom replicas and props are made strictly to order so can take up to 5 working days to produce We reserve the right to change this policy without notice and offer no guarantee that we can accomplish this aim every day. UK mainland customers can expect their order to be delivered within 3 working days of dispatch. European customers can expect their delivery within 5-7 working days of dispatch. Customers in other parts of the World can expect their order within 10-14 working days of dispatch. DoopyDoos.com does not offer any guaranteed timeframe for delivery (but offer the customer an opportunity to cancel their order if no delivery is made within 30 days (90 days outside the UK) of order date and receive a full refund), these are guide times only. All uk orders will require a signature at the time of delivery as proof of receipt. Any changes to our shipping policies will be duly documented herein. Any damages to products as a direct result of mis-handling by the carrier is not the responsibility of DoopyDoos.com though we do ensure that basic levels of insurance are offered to you at £25 - £100 per package (depending on the service we use). In the event of damage or loss, DoopyDoos.com will endeavour to recover any such funds due to the customer as a result, from its carrier on the customer's behalf.
Customs & Duty
DoopyDoos.com accepts no responsibility for any duty or taxes that are deemed payable at the time of delivery to you. You assume and accept full responsibility for complying with, and adhering to, your local rules and import legislation. If your order has been inspected by customs or any other security personnel, having already left our premises, we accept no responsibility to replace or exchange it under any circumstances. Any product that has its original seal broken by any persons other than DoopyDoos.com staff, is the responsibility of the buyer and any risk or losses involved lies solely with the buyer. Any items returned to DoopyDoos.com as a result of an inspection and subsequent failed delivery, will be returned to us at the expense of the buyer. If the buyer requests re-shipping of the order then additional shipping charges will be applied beforehand. We will only re-ship the very same item that was returned to us.
Refunds, Returns & Exchanges
All purchases and pre-orders are final, however you are able to request a refund or to cancel an order up to 10 days after your order is delivered. If you want to cancel your order or obtain a refund, the goods must be returned and received by DoopyDoos.com in the same condition as they arrived with you. If the item/s arrive at DoopyDoos.com in sub-standard or non-saleable condition a refund will not be offered (unless the cause of the non-saleable condition was as a direct result of mis-handling by our carriers). Generally, full refunds may only be issued if items arrive damaged, or if the wrong item/s are shipped, or if the pre-ordered item fails to arrive from the supplier/manufacturer. All refunds will be made within 30 days or less. We also offer the facility to return unsuitable items (please see below). Damaged or incorrect merchandise must be returned and postmarked back to DoopyDoos.com (address below) within 10 working days of the delivery date. Transit damage claims must be notified by email or in writing within 7 days of its arrival to you. If you are making a return, it must be adequately packaged, insured and you must obtain proof of mailing. You must always email us before returning any item. DoopyDoos.com reserves the right to refuse returns if there is any doubt in the validity of any claim. Exchanges are offered at the discretion of DoopyDoos.com and are subject to scrutiny. Exchanges will only be offered for the same or a similar item. All returns are dealt with in accordance with our returns procedure:
Unwanted or unsuitable items
If you are unhappy with the product you purchased (ie, if it is unwanted) you may return it within 10 working days of the date you received it for a refund (we will not refund shipping charges) Any refund due will be expedited within 30 days. All products must be returned in their original packaging in re-saleable condition. You are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted items to us. You should use a registered/recorded delivery service to guarantee its safe arrival.
Never accept or sign-for a package that has visibly suffered damaged. If the damage is only apparent after opening the package please contact us as soon as possible. All items purchased from DoopyDoos.com are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the title for such items and risk of loss pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. All orders are insured at a basic level of £25-£100 per package. DoopyDoos.com will endeavor to recover on your behalf, any monies due from our carrier in the event of transit damage. For your peace of mind we offer additional insurance cover at a premium. We obtain proof of mailing for every order. DoopyDoos.com takes pride in its outstanding packaging skills and expects less than 0.5% of orders to sustain transit damage.
How to Return a Product
Within the time-scales allowed please send an Email to us with your invoice number, a description of the item/s you wish to return, and a brief explanation.
If you have a complaint of any nature, please send it in writing to the above address or send us an Email. We endeavour to respond to all complaints within 5 working days.
We will take all reasonable care to protect the personal and payment details that you provide, but we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from our website.
We will not send unsolicited email unless we have your consent or unless we need to contact you for another specific reason relating to an order or request. You may add your name to our mailing list on our main shopping page or after checkout, and you may remove yourself from the list by asking us to remove you or by clicking the link displayed in any email you receive from DoopyDoos.com. We will never forward or share your details with another party.
